EC3 Volunteer Opportunity – TOMORROW, Saturday, November 8th

Tomorrow we will be tackling our next volunteer opportunity – painting bathrooms, the kitchen and a small portion of the Bear room. If painting isn’t your thing, we need help with prep and clean up as well. Work will start at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 3:00 p.m. Please come lend a hand at any point during that time, even if just for an hour! Please sign-up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d4aa5ab2ba7fc1-community2 – available slots range from one hour to all day and you can choose what you would like to help with.

We’re also in need of paint brushes – if you have some to loan, please let us know! And as always, we are happy to receive donations of gift cards to Home Depot for supplies, as well as donations for refreshments for the volunteers!

All of Us Express: "The Frog Prince & The Truly Remarkable Puss-n-Boots" – Hannah Community Center
Every Friday and Saturday from November 7th through November 15th. 7:00 p.m. Fridays, 2:00 & 4:30 p.m. Saturdays
This is a 'double bill,' a show with two complete short works, before and after intermission.
The Frog Prince: A humorous and charming play about the famous bewitched Prince. It pokes fun at pomposity, brings a whimsical and often confused fairy godmother on the scene, and of course, the fair young Princess who decides to adopt a most unusual pet; a large frog.

Puss-n-Boots: Following the original fairy tale, this play presents an arrogant, swaggering Puss who struts though a series of adventures which give his young master position, riches and a happily-ever-after curtain. The young master's two elder sisters scoff when their brother receives only a cat in their father's will, but it is Puss, the self-styled "truly remarkable cat." The highlight is Puss' encounter with a most terrifying ogre whom he persuades to take on a mouse's form. That is obviously the end of the ogre and the installation of princess, master and Puss in the late ogre's castle! Admission: $5 Ages 17 & under, Adults $7. http://bit.ly/10fCqTV

Choosing to send both of my children to EC3 was one of, if not the best decision I have ever made as a parent.
