Ladybug Room Painting – Saturday, August 9th

On Saturday, August 9th we will be tackling our next painting job -- the Ladybug room! We need a group of volunteers to help with various stages of the job -- prep work, furniture moving, painting, and clean-up crews will all be needed. Work will start at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 3:00 p.m. Please come lend a hand at any point during that time! Sign-up sheets for Ladybug room parents are on the room clipboard -- parents from other classrooms are welcome to pitch in too! Questions? Contact Betsy at betsy@ec3kids.org.

Family Survey Coming This Month

At least once each year, EC3 conducts a survey of its parents in order to enhance our community and to ensure our continuous improvement. In addition to questions about EC3’s program, our upcoming survey will contain family demographic information that we must have in order to be eligible for several grant opportunities. We will be sending this survey by e-mail later this month, in order to capture feedback from families of summer campers and children going to kindergarten.

2014/2015 Lansing Child Care Scholarship Application and Program Description

The Lansing Child Care Scholarship Program is designed to assist low income Lansing families with their child care expenses while they are working and or going to school. The Lansing Child Care Scholarship reimburses participating licensed child care providers on a monthly basis for a portion of the child care expenses of scholarship families. Child Care Scholarships are awarded by a priority rating system. The criterion for selection is primarily based on household income and size, single parent families and full-time vs. part-time work/school schedule and documented social/emotional needs. Information and applications are available in the EC3 office.

Choosing to send both of my children to EC3 was one of, if not the best decision I have ever made as a parent.
