EC3 Hours of Operation Changing 11/30/20

Effective Monday, 11/30 (after the Thanksgiving holiday), EC3 is changing its operating hours, opening at 7:30 a.m. and closing at 5:30 p.m. This change is in response to our low enrollment, which is still hovering around 50% capacity. Shortening our work day will reduce our payroll expenses while retaining staff as we operate on reduced revenue. We do not anticipate this being a permanent change; when enrollment rises to sustainable levels (minimum 75% ) we will resume regular hours and staff schedules.

We recognize that opening a half-hour later in the morning may cause some delays upon entry to EC3, as parents and children are screened for illness. We ask for your patience and support as we do our best to navigate this change; if you are able to wait a few minutes in your car when there is a screening lineup, or perhaps even adjust your schedule slightly to arrive later, we would be most grateful.

Miss Wanda's New Song--and Book!

EC3 has missed its weekly visits from our musical Miss Wanda, but she has been keeping busy! She is self-publishing a book she wrote, called "The Skunk at the Feeder." It has charming illustrations by Kathryn Darnell and is being printed by Arie Koelewyn on a foot powered letter press. Both Kate and Arie are longtime East Lansing residents and friends of Miss Wanda. The story started out as a song, which Miss Wanda will soon have available for FREE download on her website.

The book is a limited edition, and can be purchased for $10 per copy. It is available as a combo with a cute skunk finger puppet for $20. To purchase and for more information, send Miss Wanda an email.
