Daniel Horn


Daniel Horn is a Manger at Avis Industrial Corporation in Upland, Indiana, where he provides valuation and due diligence service on M&A transactions, heads up the internal audit function, monitors commodities, and various other ad-hoc projects. Prior to that, Daniel was Senior Manager of Assurance Services at Clark Schaefer Hackett, specializing in audits of employee benefit plans, nonprofit organizations, and small and mid-size private businesses. In addition to managing all aspects of audit engagements, he assisted clients with a wide range of services including financial statement reviews and compilations, regulatory compliance (including taxation), business planning, forensic accounting, and consulting services. His past experience is broad and ranges from HUD audits and SOC2 examinations to outsourced controller services and payroll compliance.

Daniel received his bachelor’s degree from MSU and his CPA license from the State of Michigan. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Prior to his career in public accounting, Daniel taught music to middle and high school students. He resides in Muncie, IN and his time outside of work is spent volunteering in the community, staying active, and exploring the world.
