Betsy Clinton

Program Director

Betsy Clinton serves as EC3’s Program Director. Prior to EC3, Betsy worked for over twenty years as an elementary special education teacher, working with children who have cognitive challenges, behavioral impairments, and autism. Betsy has a degree in psychology from MSU as well as a teaching certificate in elementary and special education. She also had many years’ experience teaching at Eastminster Child Development Center in East Lansing.

Betsy lives on a small family farm in St. Johns with her husband, Milton, her 13-year-old son, Zack, her two dogs, and a variety of dogs, cats, sheep, and chickens. Her adult stepson, Ian, lives in California. In her free time, Betsy enjoys gardening, quilting, playing the guitar, and singing.

They help me understand if what my child is going through is normal for their age. Gives me ideas for things that I can do to help my child. The teachers at EC3 are wonderful.
